Beachcomber Charters is a family-owned Charter business operating since 2021 on the Gold Coast. ‘Beachcomber’ is a 30-foot comfortable and versatile boat (with marine toilet on board) that can accommodate 12 passengers. Beachcomber has the benefit of both side access to allow boarding from a jetty, as well as a front-loading beach ladder, so that guests can go ashore and explore local islands. The crew of Beachcomber Charters are versatile as fishing guides as well as tour guides - helping guests spot resident dolphins and dugongs on the Broadwater - and our goal is always for our guests to make amazing holiday memories.

Wavebreak Island Picnic – Pelicans, Prawns & Prosecco! Beachcomber Charters departs 1pm from Appel Park, Surfers Paradise, to cruise north along the waterways to witness the Gold Coast’s famous Pelican feeding. After the Pelicans have had their feed, it will be time to cruise to Wavebreak Island for our guests to enjoy their own seafood feast! A deluxe picnic setting including Cabana is the venue to enjoy a feast of prawns, oysters, and salmon. Picnic also includes glasses of Prosecco and mineral water. After 30-45 minutes of enjoying your picnic, we will again cruise back to Surfers Paradise. Approx. 2-2.5 hour round trip.

We will contact you the night before – prior to 7pm - if the weather forecast is not looking ideal to discuss options. We use a range of forecasting tools to try and predict what the weather will be doing and to provide you the most notice in the case that we cancel a charter.
